  • Taylor Mullin MSN, RN, CNOR

    Co-Founder

    Taylor Mullin is a nurse educator, operating room nurse, and oncology specialized RN with over 8 years of clinical practice, research, and education. Taylor is dedicated to advancing patient care through innovative practices and evidence-based approaches. In her role as a nurse educator in Columbus Ohio, she teaches in both traditional and accelerated prelicensure programs and an advocate for student success. Taylor actively works as a surgical oncology RN. Taylor is currently in her dissertation phase of her Ph.D. in Nursing degree at The Ohio State University researching cancer prevention. She is an expert witness with years of experience, offering expert testimony and analysis in legal cases involving medical malpractice and nursing standards. Taylor’s expertise is rooted in a thorough understanding of healthcare practices and a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.

    Taylor completed her master’s in nursing education degree from Capital University, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing. Taylor is a certified nurse in the operating room from the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI) and a chemotherapy certified RN from the Oncology Nursing Society.

    An accomplished funded researcher, Taylor has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented their findings at local and national conferences. Taylor’s research focuses on cancer prevention, contributing significantly to the body of knowledge in nursing and healthcare.

    Taylor is actively involved in professional organizations such as American Nurses Association-Ohio, Midwest Nursing Research Society, Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), Association for Operating room nurses (AORN), Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Ohio and National League for Nursing. Taylor is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau where she was inducted in 2019, along with a winner of the Expert nursing award from the Mid-Ohio Nursing Association and the DAISY award for extraordinary nurses.

  • Lynn Long, PhD, APRN-CNP, CRNI

    Dr. Lynn Long is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Ph.D. in Nursing, with over 40 years of experience in clinical practice, research, and education. Dr. Long is dedicated to advancing patient care through innovative practices and evidence-based approaches. In her role as a Nurse Practitioner at Psych on Demand, she provides comprehensive healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patient care, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize health outcomes. Dr. Long also teaches nursing students in pre-licensure and graduate level programs. She is an expert witness with many years of experience, offering expert testimony and analysis in legal cases involving medical malpractice and nursing standards. Dr. Long’s expertise is rooted in a thorough understanding of healthcare practices and a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.

    Dr. Long completed a Ph.D. in Nursing at Mercer University after earning a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Chamberlain University, a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, nurse practitioner post-master’s education from Northern Kentucky University, and bachelor’s degree in nursing from Capital University. Dr. Long is board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is nationally certified in infusion therapy from the National Commission for Certifying Agency and the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certifications. Dr. Long’s publications and dissertation contributes to the body of knowledge in nursing and healthcare.

    Dr. Long is actively involved in professional organizations such as American Academy of Nurse Practice. Dr. Long has been awarded the Distinguished Faculty Award twice, reflecting her commitment to the profession. In addition to her professional work, Dr. Long is dedicated to community service and volunteering with local city government to improve and preserve historic architecture.

  • Christopher Rizzo, MSN,CCRN, APRN-CNP, APRN- CNS

    Co-Founder

    Christopher V. Rizzo is a Nurse Practitioner in Columbus, Ohio, who recently completed the Critical Care App Fellowship. He initially attended Alderson Broaddus College in Philippi, WV, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Chris started his profession at Ohio State in 2000 as a staff nurse in the first critical care internship. After completing the internship, he accepted a position as a staff nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit during his 23-year career. He works in various critical care depts throughout the medical centers and has two years in Interventional Radiology. In 2016, He decided to further his education and started a master’s program at Capital University. He completed a Master of Science in Nursing, focusing on Clinical Nurse Specialist. On completing his master’s degree, Chris stayed at Capital University as an adjunct professor and continues to hold that position. IN 2019, Chris Enrolled at Mount Carmel College of Nursing for His Adult Gerontology Acute care Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program.

Our Associates

Our firm also offers additional services for expert witness testimony. Our associates are highly qualified and experts in their fields of fire and safety practice and 911 service with over 25 years of experience.  As a certified paramedic (EMT-P, BLS, ACLS, ASLS, PALS) by one of the largest municipal fire and EMS systems in the Midwest, our associates have reviewed and developed EMS protocols, reviewed clinical reports, and investigated fire safety and arson. As an expert witness, our associates provide objective and unbiased analysis and testimony in legal cases related to each case.

We also have nurses who specialize in all areas of nursing practice who offer expert witness testimony. With various levels of education, these nurses actively practice in acute care and ambulatory care settings. This includes advanced practice nurses (APRN) along with registered nurses (RN).
